Tennessee / Kentucky Dark Fire Cured Solid Leaf

Our Tennessee / Kentucky Fire Cured LO Solid Leaf Tobacco has a traditional dark fire cured tobacco aroma that is balanced by a lingering sweetness. Think about all the ingredients that make up thick, tomato based BBQ sauce, and you'll have a pretty good idea how this leaf smells. We've graded this tobacco as a solid leaf rather than a wrapper due to the presence of occasional holes and minor defects. Compared to our Virginia Light Fire Cured Wrapper, this TN/KY Dark Fire Cured Tobacco is slightly darker with a stronger, sweeter aroma.

This dark fire-cured tobacco is an exceptionally dark leaf, well suited to many different uses. These leaves are grown in Tennessee and Kentucky and cured using a traditional fire curing process. Generally, the fire-curing process involves hanging plants in enclosed barns, where intermittent smoldering fires are lit to impart their distinctive flavor to the leaves.

As with all our retail sales, these leaves are unbound and separated from one another.
