Our Kentucky Burley SL is a fine, high quality burley. This light-colored tobacco leaf has very little sugar content, which gives it a dry, developed aroma. A more flavorful description is found on MAN Crates by Kukan, T. (2017, May 23). "Put This In Your Pipe And Smoke It: How To Choose A Tobacco" outlines the varieties, cures, cuts, and tastes of tobacco. Kukan describes burley tobacco as having "a soft, nutty flavor that burns slowly and coolly." This tobacco is great when blended with other tobaccos, as "it accepts outside flavors (i.e., casings)."

Total leaf supply Burley smells amazing and the leaves are in great shape. Big leaves, makes plenty of smokeable tobacco. I’ve had mine for a few months and once the bag is opened this tobacco just gets better and better with time. Burns very well and has a bold earthy taste that is expected from a good burley. It is developing chocolate like aroma and taste with time.
