Our Tennessee / Kentucky Dark Fire Cured Binder Tobacco has a traditional dark fire cured tobacco aroma balanced with a lingering sweetness. Think about all the ingredients that make up thick, tomato-based BBQ sauce; you'll have a pretty good idea of how this leaf smells. Because this leaf is packed in 'hands,' it's much easier to work with than the Tennessee/Kentucky Dark Fire Cured Solid Leaf.  Compared to our Virginia Light Fire Cured Wrapper, this TN/KY Dark Fire Cured Tobacco is slightly darker with a stronger, sweeter aroma.

This dark fire-cured tobacco is an exceptionally dark leaf, well suited to many uses. These leaves are grown in Tennessee and Kentucky and cured using traditional fire curing. Generally, the fire curing process involves hanging plants in enclosed barns where intermittent smoldering fires are lit to give the leaves their immediately recognizable flavor.

As with all of our retail sales, these leaves are unbound and separated from each other.
